Job Summary
The Vocational Training Council is seeking a highly qualified and experienced Term Lecturer to join our team in the Structured Whole Person Development Programme. As a Term Lecturer, you will be responsible for teaching physical education modules and contributing to the development and implementation of quality policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach physical education modules in the Structured Whole Person Development Programme
- Contribute to the development and review of curriculum and teaching materials
- Act as Module Co-ordinator/Module Leader of the SWPD Programme
- Assist in validation and accreditation of programmes
- Promote and organize campus/sports/student development programmes
- Contribute to the development and implementation of quality policies
Requirements
- Recognized degree in Physical Education/Sports/Sports Science with teaching experience
- At least 3 years' relevant teaching and/or industry experience
- Good communication and presentation skills in English and Chinese
- Ability to teach at least two sports
- Experience in facilitating The Hong Kong Award for Young People or working with persons with special educational needs
- Strong community networking/linkage with professional bodies in sports field
- Good team player with ability to work collaboratively and independently
Notes
- Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field may also apply
- Shortlisted candidates will be required to take a written assessment
- Successful candidates are required to perform duties in different sites and/or outside normal office hours
