About the Role

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead and drive sales performance of frontline sales teams to achieve overall sales and service targets.
  • Develop sales strategies and business plans for cluster branches with Department Heads and Branch Managers to optimise sales capacity and effectiveness.
  • Conduct regular coaching, training, and market/product briefings to sales staff to enhance their functional competencies and professionalism when interacting with customers.
  • Develop or source sales materials/scripts for sales staff to ensure consistency in information flow and enhance sales efficiency.
  • Provide professional support and advice to both sales staff and customers through joint sales calls and regular portfolio reviews.
  • Perform regulated activities, Type 1 & 4 specified under the Securities & Futures Ordinance.
  • Support branch(es) in providing superior service to investment customers according to the Bank's required service standards.
  • Resolve complex enquiries and complaints.
  • Provide regular and timely feedback to product taskforce teams on customer acceptability of new investment products, services and sales issues.
  • Participate in product development and process improvement projects & activities assigned.
  • Audit and Compliance Control: Ensure full compliance with external regulatory codes and guidelines, ordinances and internal compliance policies, standards, guidelines & procedures related to investment selling and advisory.
  • Improve control and compliance quality on investment selling and operation through leadership, education, ongoing monitoring and effective remedial actions.
  • Assist branch(es) in investigating and handling investment complaints according to the Bank's complaint handling and escalation procedures in a timely manner.
