Position Overview

The Tax Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax regulations and providing support in various tax-related matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and submission of tax returns and ensure adherence to applicable tax laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with external tax advisors and internal teams on direct and indirect tax issues, including contract evaluations.
  • Conduct tax research to support compliance and planning initiatives.
  • Facilitate engagements and foster strong working relationships with external tax consultants.
  • Support the half-year and year-end tax provision processes.
  • Contribute to the development of tax planning reports.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in corporate tax, indirect tax, or international tax (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply).
  • Self-driven with a solid understanding of tax accounting principles.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal and research skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in both spoken Chinese and English; proficiency in Putonghua is a plus.
  • Less experienced candidates may be considered for the role of Assistant Tax Officer.
