Job Responsibilities:- Review and analyze new insurance applications to assess risk exposure and compliance with underwriting guidelines and risk management principles.
- Maintain effective communication with key sales representatives to ensure the smooth flow of business and provide training to enhance their underwriting knowledge.
- Provide quality and professional responses to enquiries from sales channels and resolve escalated underwriting issues and appeals with flexible solutions.
- Bachelor's degree holder with professional insurance qualifications such as FLMI, ACS, ALU or equivalent.
- Minimum 6 years of solid underwriting experience in life insurance with at least 2 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Underwriting medical authority of not less than extra mortality 100%, with high net worth experience preferable.
- Good integrity, quality-oriented, good interpersonal and communications skills.
- A solutions thinker, strong analytical skills and independent.
- Open-minded, flexible, proactive and stress-positive.
- Good leadership and team-building skills.
- Proficiency in using MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese & Mandarin).
