  • Analyze and interpret RNA sequencing data, including differential gene expression analysis, pathway analysis, and identification of potential biomarkers.
  • Design and optimize genetic circuits for various applications using algorithms and computational modelling.
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams, including biologists, engineers, and data scientists, to drive research projects and product development.
  • Develop and maintain scalable and reproducible bioinformatics workflows for various research and development projects.
  • Maintain proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in bioinformatics, such as Python and R.
  • Familiarity with relevant databases and tools in bioinformatics and synthetic biology is required.
Requirements
  • Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
  • Fluency in Mandarin or Cantonese is desirable.
