We are seeking an experienced educator to join our School of Education and Languages. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing learning materials and assessment tasks for a 6-credit-unit distance learning course.
The course aims to develop students' critical understanding of the educational context of Hong Kong, their ability to act as reflective practitioners, and their capacity in different levels of planning in English language teaching. Key duties include preparing a course guide, developing new course contents, creating teaching and learning materials, and designing assessment items.
Candidates should possess a higher degree, preferably a doctoral degree, in an area related to primary school education or mathematics education. They should also have excellent written Chinese skills, effective communication abilities, and the capacity to work independently. Preference will be given to those with experience in designing teaching and/or materials design at the tertiary level.
