Job Overview:
The Global Procurement Category Lead - Textiles will lead the development and implementation of category strategies, negotiate contracts, and manage supplier relationships. This role requires strong analytical skills, project management ability, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute category strategies that align with business objectives.
- Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers that meet the organization's needs.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs.
- Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions.
- Develop and maintain category-specific metrics and KPIs.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in International Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management.
- Prior experience in Textiles category management preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of achieving cost savings and favorable contract terms.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
