Job Summary


This is a first-line risk role, responsible for managing the delivery of Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) initiatives across Asia. The ideal candidate will support stakeholders in implementing and managing relevant TPRM programs and activities throughout the TPRM life cycle.


About the Role



  • Facilitate the implementation of the TPRM Policy and operating guidelines across the Asia region, refining processes as needed.
  • Support business and procurement functions with day-to-day operational and control aspects of TPRM.
  • Act as an Asia representative, liaising with Corporate teams on TPRM initiatives, including regional practices and lessons learned.
  • Manage interactions with key stakeholders across different levels (Regional Office and Business Unit) to understand TPRM requirements and develop approaches that meet corporate and regulatory needs.
  • Interface and partner with second-line risk functions and subject matter experts on risk and policy compliance aspects of TPRM.
  • Support BU Procurement teams with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of TPRM-related issues, ensuring timely escalation and resolution with relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare reports for senior management on the status of the third-party risk management program.
  • Influence business colleagues and stakeholders to embed an adequate third-party risk culture across the business, delivering appropriate TPRM materials and training.
  • Perform quality assurance and review of the TPRM framework, including governance and operating effectiveness at BUs.

Qualifications



  • Bachelor's or Master's degree.
  • Risk Management/Internal Controls/TPRM accreditation desirable.
  • 6+ years of experience in TPRM and control functions in procurement within financial institutions.
  • Strong knowledge of TPRM principles and factors contributing to third-party risk, with risk assessment and monitoring expertise.
  • Knowledge of TPRM programs, controls, and processes, ideally in Canadian or European regulatory environments.
  • Demonstrable experience developing strong relationships with cross-functional areas and multi-stakeholder landscapes.

Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
