The Consultant position is a mid-level role that involves executing and overseeing engagement work streams. Responsibilities include managing junior staff, designing statistical and economic models, and developing client deliverables. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and manage all aspects of client engagements, from project initiation to completion.
  • Delegate tasks to team members, provide guidance, and review work product for quality and accuracy.
  • Develop and implement economic models using data analysis and statistical techniques.
  • Present findings and recommendations to clients through clear and concise reporting.
  • Build and maintain relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify opportunities for business growth and development.

Qualifications

  • A graduate degree in economics or a related field, with a focus on competition economics.
  • At least 4 years of experience in competition economics, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, STATA, R, and/or Python, with the ability to train others in these tools.
  • Excellent English language skills, both written and spoken, with the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
  • A keen interest in economic research and analysis, with a desire to stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments.
