Job Overview

Reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer (CIO), you will lead the charge in providing architectural direction for technology solutions, data architectures, data management, cloud, and infrastructure initiatives. As a member of the senior leadership team, you will be responsible for designing and developing high-volume data ingestion components and ETL solutions to collect data from various internal and external sources. Additionally, you will recommend data governance processes, security standards, and models that will provide architectural guidelines to support development initiatives. Furthermore, you will participate in strategic and tactical planning and design sessions, collaborating with product management, Business Intelligence, data engineering, architects, operations, and development teams. Lastly, you will oversee the overall data strategy, architectures, and security, defining data models, all data marts, evaluating infrastructure components, software, performance, and data applications design.

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 12+ years of experience required
  • Proven ability to anticipate business needs and future, emerging trends, and articulate a vision and strategy that motivates others to action
  • Strong technical skills in data warehousing, data solutions design, and extensive experience with leading enterprise data warehouse technologies
  • Experience with multi-cloud adoption highly desirable
  • Ability to manipulate high-volume, high-dimensional data from varying sources to highlight patterns, anomalies, relationships, and trends using machine learning techniques
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to develop positive working relationships and strong rapport with stakeholders
