About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join our team at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council. As an experienced professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal controls.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement comprehensive audit programs to assess business controls, systems, and processes.
  • Analyse findings and results to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain working papers and documentation to support audit findings.
  • Communicate audit results and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Perform follow-up reviews to assess implementation of audit recommendations.

Requirements:

  • Qualified accountant with a degree in accountancy (additional CIA or CISA highly preferred).
  • A minimum of 5 years' relevant experience, preferably with multinational corporations.
  • Experience from both Big 4 accounting firms and internal auditing is a definite advantage.
  • Excellent command of English writing skills, fluent in speaking English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
  • Proficient in IT applications (Oracle-savvy is a plus).
  • A resourceful, adaptive and mature team player with strong planning, analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills at all business levels.
  • Able to resolve complex issues and provide solutions to the management.
  • Meticulous, systematic, tactful and able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Responsible, positive and committed to internal auditing as a career.
