Procurement Director for Watch Components

We are seeking a skilled Purchasing Manager to join our team at JPC Texson Ltd. As a key member of our purchasing department, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective purchasing strategies for overseas markets, primarily focusing on the US and EU markets for international lifestyle watch brands.
The Company OverviewJPC Texson Ltd is a reputable watch development and trading company based in the US with a strong presence in both the US and European markets. Our primary focus is on procuring high-quality watch components while ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Salary and BenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package along with additional benefits including 13 months' pay plus bonus, 5 days workweek, 14 days annual leave, and comprehensive medical insurance.
Job DescriptionYour responsibilities as a Purchasing Manager will include:
- Purchasing Strategy Development: Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with our business objectives, focusing on securing favorable terms with suppliers.
- Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, prices, and timelines to ensure timely delivery and quality components.
- Daily Operations Supervision: Oversee daily purchasing activities, allocate tasks, and maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions.
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with a team of 2-3 members to procure watch components and manage material supply and shortage status.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the quality of watch components delivered by suppliers, adhering to industry standards.
- Cost Control: Monitor and control purchasing costs to optimize budgetary efficiency.
To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- A diploma or higher educational background.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in purchasing, with at least 2 years in a managerial or senior position.
- Strong knowledge of watch components and the watch industry.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with suppliers.
- Proficiency in English and Mandarin languages.
