Job Summary

Prudential plc is seeking an experienced Actuarial Manager to join our team in Pricing and Business Development. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a critical role in shaping our health protection business strategy and driving growth through innovative pricing solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and conduct robust actuarial analysis to inform business development initiatives and drive growth in our health protection business.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement pricing strategies that meet business objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead junior colleagues in performing actuarial analyses and compiling reports to support business decision-making.
  • Provide actuarial support and recommendations to senior management on business development initiatives and product launches.
  • Ensure the quality of work produced by the team through supervision, guidance, and coaching of subordinates.
Requirements
  • University graduate majoring in Actuarial Science or related curriculum.
  • Fellow of the Societies of Actuaries or equivalent.
  • 4-6 years relevant actuarial working experience.
  • Experience in pricing or developing health protection propositions is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills and command of both spoken and written English and Chinese.
  • Solid actuarial knowledge and financial modeling skills.
  • Knowledge in Prophet model programming is preferred and stochastic modelling skill is desirable.
  • Experience in coaching junior actuarial staff and managing a team.
