Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research - Associate/Analyst to join our team at ICBC International. As a key member of our research department, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of various sectors and industries.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct primary and secondary research across relevant sectors qualitatively and quantitatively;
  • Perform data and financial analysis on trends of relevant industry development;
  • Prepare and write company research reports, sector reports, and pre-deal research reports independently;
  • Maintain and develop the consumer market database;
  • Assist in sector-related ad-hoc research projects;
  • Organize and participate in non-deal road shows, forums, and company visits;
  • Take responsibility for marketing duties related to meeting with investors;
  • Participate in departmental projects or tasks assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, or other relevant majors;
  • At least 3 years' experience in the finance industry, preferably in equity research, private equity, consulting, investment banking, or other relevant fields;
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills;
  • Solid financial modeling and valuation skills;
  • Able to mine data and search for information from different sources effectively;
  • Able to write research reports compliant with regulations and internal standards;
  • Effective communication and conviction of research ideas;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – ability to form effective working relationships;
  • Proactive in taking responsibilities and able to multitask;
  • Possession of strong motivation to contribute to the investment banking field;
  • Ability to work closely with team members and deliver quality work under tight schedules;
  • Fluency in English and Mandarin, both written and verbal communication skills.
