**About the Role:**

We are seeking an experienced Senior Risk Manager to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of an effective Enterprise Risk Management Framework that aligns with the company's strategic objectives.

The role requires a highly skilled professional with over ten years of experience in risk management, compliance, or internal audit. You will be responsible for identifying new risks, developing strategies to mitigate them, and providing recommendations on risk tolerance.

You will also lead the development of new Risk Management Policy, Risk Management Guideline, and Procedures, and Terms of Reference, and act as a key contact point for Primary Risk Owners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement the Group Risk Classification, including defining risks and their sub-levels, maintaining risk registers, and conducting annual risk assessments.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to identify new risks and ensure that risk assessments reflect changes in the company's activities or infrastructure.
  • Provide recommendations on risk tolerance and develop strategies to mitigate risks.
  • Lead the development of new Risk Management Policy, Risk Management Guideline, and Procedures, and Terms of Reference.
  • Act as a key contact point for Primary Risk Owners, ensuring they have the necessary tools and assistance to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks.
  • Conduct comprehensive research into specific risks/new identified risks to provide insights and recommendations for senior management and the Enterprise Risk Management Executive Committee.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks as required by the department.
Requirements:
  • University degree holder in Risk Management, Accounting, Audit, Finance, or Law or related discipline is preferred.
  • Over ten years of experience working in risk management, compliance, or internal audit at a sizable corporation or in the risk area of a global consultancy.
  • Relevant risk management experience in food and beverage, utilities, and FMCG industries is an added advantage.
  • Possess a constructive and supportive attitude, ability to influence people, and promote change.
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, able to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders and to build strong relationships.
  • Able to cope under pressure, keen to work in partnership with User Departments from different geographical locations to seek positive outcomes.
  • Analytical mindset with an enthusiasm for learning new things, researching issues, and developing new insights on established and emerging issues.
  • Inclined to question and challenge and to seek understanding of issues while always maintaining the respect of stakeholders.
