Job Description: Product Development Manager

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Designing and developing new knit garments and fabrics
  • Organizing product meetings and presenting ideas to customers
  • Working with fabric mills and garment factories to develop samples
  • Performing market research to stay up-to-date with fashion trends
  • Sourcing suitable fabrics based on customer design briefs

Requirements:

  • Tertiary education in Textile & Clothing, Fashion Design, Textile Technology, or related disciplines
  • At least 5 years of experience in product development, preferably in a sizeable garment manufacturing environment
  • Good knowledge of knits fabrics
  • Experience in handling European customers
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, Illustrator, Photoshop; Apex is a plus
