Key Responsibilities


As a Resident Radiation Therapist at the Hospital Authority, you will undertake a comprehensive portfolio of radiotherapy procedures, ensuring high-quality clinical care for patients. You will be an integral member of the radiotherapy team, working collaboratively to deliver exceptional patient outcomes.


Requirements and Attributes


To excel in this role, you will need a degree in Radiography (Therapy) from a local university or equivalent. Additionally, you must hold a Certificate of Registration (Category T) (Part I or II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Radiographers Board, Hong Kong.


Preferred attributes include fluency in written English and Chinese, as well as spoken English and Cantonese. Excellent communication skills, empathy, and a commitment to patient care are essential. Leadership and interpersonal skills are also highly valued.


Working Arrangements


Appointed candidates may be required to work shifts, irregular hours, and on-call duties. Selected applicants will be subject to central posting and may be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.

Graduates whose final year transcripts are not available may attach school examination results of all available school years for reference. Remarks


For serving HA staff, the selected candidate will be offered a contract or fixed-term appointment for 1-3 years, depending on existing employment terms. Serving permanent employees will be offered a fixed-term appointment, while serving contract employees will be offered contract employment with up to 15% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity.


For external applicants, appointment will be on contract terms for 1-3 years, with up to 15% of total basic salary as end-of-contract gratuity. All applicants must meet the appointment requirements and submit their applications online on or before 31 March 2024.
