Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced English language educator to join our team as a Part-time Lecturer (Day Time) at the Vocational Training Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English language courses, supervising students' projects, and contributing to the development of programme curriculum and teaching materials.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teach English language courses to students at various levels
  • Supervise students' projects and provide guidance and feedback
  • Contribute to the development of programme curriculum and teaching materials
  • Organise language enhancement activities for students
  • Participate in projects and functions of the Language Centre
Requirements
  • A recognised degree in English Language, English Language and Literature, Language Studies (English), Linguistics, Education (English), English Communication, or Translation (English)
  • A relevant English teaching qualification, such as Postgraduate Certificate/Diploma in Education (major in English), Teaching English as a Second Language, or Teaching English as a Foreign Language
  • At least 3 years' relevant teaching and/or industry experience
  • Good communication, presentation, and digital skills
  • A good team player, able to work on own initiative and willing to meet challenges
