Job Overview:

We're seeking an Environmental Conservation Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to projects that make a real impact on the environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support environmental field work, data processing, and research studies to develop baseline environmental profiles.
  • Undertake ecological field surveys, including marine ecological and fisheries field surveys.
  • Provide technical support in handling and measuring environmental specimens according to protocols.
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives.

About You:

  • You have a strong educational background in environmental science or a related field.
  • You're passionate about environmental conservation and sustainability.
  • You're willing to work outdoors and on vessels as required.
  • You have good organisational and reporting skills.
  • You're proactive, results-oriented, and able to handle multiple tasks.
  • You have a sound knowledge of statistical techniques and GIS applications.
  • You have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
