We are a leading telecom carrier and IT solutions company seeking an experienced project manager to oversee our infrastructure and system implementation services.

Job Description

As an IT Project Director, you will provide critical IT infrastructure and system implementation services to our enterprise customers. Your role will involve collaborating with various technical teams, commercial sales, presales, and managing multiple external service providers to ensure the successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Maintain Project Plans: Create comprehensive project plans covering all necessary tasks, resource requirements, costs, and deliverables.
  • Manage Projects: Oversee the management of projects across multiple domains, including networking, data center, server, and storage systems, cybersecurity, cloud, software development, and voice/PABX.
  • Equipment Procurement and Budget Management: Closely manage equipment procurement, budgets, and timelines to ensure timely project completion.
  • Status Updates and Issue Resolution: Provide regular project cost, schedule updates, and promptly resolve issues that arise during project execution.

Project Manager (Applications) Responsibilities

In this role, you will work closely with the technical team and vendors to drive projects aligned with objectives, resources, and expectations. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cross-Domain Solution Development: Manage cross-domain solution development and project implementation.
  • System Delivery Discussions: Participate in or drive system delivery discussions when implementing technology solutions.
  • Project Requirements Gathering: Gather project requirements from clients and project teams to define efficient work plans for project delivery.
  • Project Schedule Planning and Monitoring: Plan and monitor project schedules to achieve project outputs.
  • Risk and Issue Management: Identify and manage project risks and issues.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Diploma or Degree: Hold a diploma or degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: Possess at least 5 years of experience in the IT industry, with less experience considered as a project executive.
  • IT Infrastructure Project Management Experience: Have solid experience in managing IT infrastructure projects, such as planning and system/network migration planning.
  • Technical Knowledge and Project Management Skills: Possess technical knowledge and project management experience in areas like networking, server storage, data center, cloud, cybersecurity, and software systems.
