About the Team

You will join a dynamic 4-person Legal team, reporting directly to the General Counsel to assist in executing and operationalizing the global licensing strategy of the Reap Group.

Job Description

As a junior member of the Legal team at a fast-paced start-up, you will be exposed to a wide array of legal tasks as you grow with us.

  • You will provide operational support for key legal projects primarily related to licensing, corporate structure, and overseas expansion.

Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting in applying for and renewing various licenses in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborating with external company secretaries to handle full spectrum company secretarial matters for Group companies in multiple jurisdictions, including HK, SG, AU, MX, BR, US, and more.
  • Leading vendor and counterparty due diligence and onboarding.
  • Ensuring corporate structure and local regulation compliance of our Group entities.
  • Conducting legal research on licensing and legal environments of new jurisdictions.
Required Skills and Qualifications

  • At least 3 years of experience as a company secretary or paralegal for a multinational firm or company.
  • Degree in Law.
  • Incredible attention to detail and organization skills.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment juggling multiple projects across time zones.
  • Capacity to work independently and confidently lead junior work on key projects like licensing, company incorporation, and maintenance, counterparty due diligence, and more.
  • Familiarity with complex regulatory environments and ability to navigate grey areas and edge cases.
  • Experience working in fintech or Web3 environments is a plus.
