Job Summary

The Senior Software Engineer will play a crucial role in collaborating with project managers, solution architects, and users to define and develop functional and detailed design specifications for business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Work closely with business users to document requirements and prepare specifications.
  2. Collaborate with the project manager, solution architect, and users during analysis, definition, and development phases.
  3. Perform system design, development (including customization, interfaces, conversion, and reporting), and software release.
  4. Conduct design/code reviews to ensure quality of software deliverables.
  5. Provide support during system assurance tests and user acceptance tests.
  6. Resolve production problems and provide timely updates.

Requirements

  1. University degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent.
  2. 8 years' experience in software development and system support.
  3. Knowledge of Microsoft .Net and MVC framework, Microsoft SQL Server, C#, Crystal Reports.
  4. Solid experience in implementation and support of management information systems, business workflow systems, and operation management systems.
  5. Good presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal IT, Racing, and external vendors.
  6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  7. Able to work with offshore developers, be proactive, and work independently.
  8. Proficient in both spoken and written English, Cantonese, and Putonghua.
