Job Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Data Scientist Lead to join our team at Pinpoint Asia, headquartered in Hong Kong. As a key member of our data science team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth through data-driven insights and strategic decision-making.

Salary

The salary for this position is estimated to be around HKD 600,000 - HKD 900,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a collaborative and innovative environment within the data science team, providing guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Develop and implement advanced machine learning models to optimize distribution strategies and improve agent performance.
  • Utilize advanced analytics techniques to generate actionable insights and enhance decision-making processes across the organization.
  • Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and dashboards to monitor critical metrics and ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and IT, to align data initiatives with business objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in data analysis, specifically in machine learning and predictive modeling, with leadership experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as TensorFlow, Scikit-learn, or PyTorch.
  • Expertise in conceptualizing and building AI/ML models.
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL for data manipulation and querying.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to interpret complex datasets.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information effectively.
