Classy Wheeler Limited: A Leading Beverages Manufacturer and Distributor

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Engineer to join our team in Hong Kong.

Job Overview: As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for the efficient running of enterprise software applications, ensuring they meet their optimum potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of enterprise software applications, including legacy and web/mobile systems, to guarantee optimal performance and adherence to ITIL standards.
  • Leadership in issue resolution, driving issues to completion following ITIL guidelines.
  • Management of Quality Assurance and System Implementation projects.
  • Handling change requests and ensuring deliverables meet user requirements.
  • Providing application support services for enterprise systems within agreed service levels.
  • Proactive monitoring and follow-up of routine/ad hoc system and database issues.
  • Enforcement and adherence to SDLC standards and procedures.
  • Liaison with Tier-2 on development of system enhancements to address known problems and propose suitable solutions.
  • Coordination with user departments to collect, identify, and analyze business requirements.
  • Assistance in execution of various testing types and provision of accurate testing results.
  • Implementation, user training, deployment, and production release processes.
  • Support for knowledge sharing within IT teams.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with outsourced vendors in Hong Kong and other team members in China.

Requirements:

  • Education: University/Polytechnic graduates in Information Technology or related fields and equivalent.
  • Working Experience: At least 2 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good knowledge in MSSQL, SYBASE, C#, ASP.NET, MS Windows, and MS Office.
  • Familiarity with ITIL standard and Project Management methodologies.
  • Experience in Supply Chain, ERP/SAP, CRM, or Sales Force solution is advantageous.
  • Experience in supporting large-scale enterprise applications and system implementation.
  • Familiarity with incident support & application development life cycle.
  • A team player with good analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, pleasant personality, and self-motivation.
  • Ability to work under dynamic environments, handle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong sense of responsibility and ability to work independently.
  • Good command of spoken and written English and Mandarin.

Salary: HKD 55,000 - HKD 80,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
