About the Opportunity

We're seeking a Product Design System Strategist to drive the evolution of our design system, the foundation that powers our product experiences. As a key member of our design team, you'll have the autonomy to implement your vision while collaborating with talented designers, developers, and product managers who are passionate about creating exceptional user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design System Leadership: Own the strategic vision and roadmap for our design system, ensuring it scales with our growing product needs. Lead the development and maintenance of our component library, design tokens, and documentation.
  • Cross-Functional Excellence: Partner with engineering leads to ensure seamless implementation of design system components. Facilitate workshops and design reviews to align teams on design principles and implementation.
  • Team Development: Foster a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement. Lead design critiques and provide constructive feedback to elevate design quality.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of product design experience, with at least 3 years focused on design systems. Proven track record of building and scaling design systems for complex products.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating systematic thinking and component-based design. Experience leading and mentoring design teams.
  • Expert knowledge of Figma and prototyping methods. Understanding of front-end development principles and accessibility standards.
  • Experience with user research, data-driven decision making, and cross-functional collaboration. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
