Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Housekeeping Liaison to join our team at Marriott International. As a key member of our Housekeeping department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our guest room cleaning and preparation process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run sold room reports and verify room status to determine discrepant rooms and prioritize room cleaning.
  • Assist Housekeeping management in managing daily activities and coordinate efforts with Engineering, Front Office, and Laundry.
  • Document and resolve issues with discrepant rooms with the Front Desk.
  • Prepare and distribute room assignments to Housekeeping staff and record, monitor, and update the list of 'Do Not Disturb' rooms.
  • Ensure vacant dirty rooms are cleaned by the necessary time and assign rush rooms and rooms previously on the 'Do Not Disturb' list.
  • Complete required Housekeeping paperwork and follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in Housekeeping or a related field is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
