We are seeking a highly skilled IT Architect to join our team at China CITIC Bank International Limited. As a key member of our IT Architecture team, you will play a critical role in enhancing the bank's IT capabilities by driving long-term improvements in IT architecture.

1. Advise Major IT Projects

• Provide expert guidance on application architecture and design for major IT projects.
• Ensure that business functions are appropriately organized and aligned with the bank's overall strategy.
• Ensure that appropriate technologies, platforms, frameworks, and tools are used to support business objectives.
• Ensure that architecture standards, guidelines, and patterns are being followed.
• Identify and mitigate architectural risks to ensure the success of IT projects.

• Conduct thorough reviews of current application architecture and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Provide actionable recommendations for improvement and implement changes as needed.
• Perform gap analysis against industry best practices and standards to ensure the bank's architecture is aligned with industry benchmarks.
• Conduct research on new technologies and evaluate their potential impact on the bank's architecture.
• Develop and present improvement plans, including cost-benefit analysis and implementation strategies.

• Develop and communicate architectural principles and standards to ensure consistency across the organization.
• Develop and maintain standards, guidelines, and patterns for IT architecture.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive documentation repository for IT architecture.
• Design and implement a documentation management system to ensure that documentation is up-to-date and accurate.

• Degree holder in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related disciplines.
• Qualification related to IT architecture and design is an added advantage.
• At least 10 years' experience in application development, with at least 3 years' experience in solution architecture/enterprise architecture, preferably in the financial industry.
• Solid experience in IT architecture and design.
• Solid experience in developing and maintaining architectural and design documentation.
• Proven records in developing in-depth knowledge in specific technology areas.
• Hands-on experience in preparing system design or architectural documentations.
• Prior experience in complex enterprise-wide implementation projects is a definite advantage.
• General knowledge of the financial industry and its IT applications.
• General knowledge in all and in-depth knowledge in at least two of the following: micro-service design with Kubernetes, API design and governance, cloud computing, DevOps, machine learning.
• General competency on IT cost effectiveness.
• General knowledge in IT operation, IT infrastructure, and security design.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
