Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber-Security Manager - Application to join our team at Classy Wheeler Limited. This role is responsible for translating security concepts for developers, improving and maintaining secure development standards, and managing application security framework improvement projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Translate complex security concepts into actionable strategies for software development teams.
  • Develop and implement secure development standards and guidelines to ensure the highest level of security in all applications.
  • Manage and lead application security framework improvement projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security tools, standards, and processes into the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Ensure that developers have the necessary security knowledge to perform their daily tasks effectively.
  • Improve and support the deployment of application security tools, including static analysis and runtime testing tools.
  • Produce metrics to report on the state of application security programs and performance of development teams against requirements.
  • Support vendor security activities to ensure third-party software and development meets security standards.
  • Assist in incident response and architecture review processes whenever application security expertise is needed.
  • Hold third parties accountable for code quality.
  • Integrate threat modeling practices into the product life cycle.
  • Conduct application security design reviews and prioritize all application security issues.
  • Provide security requirements for test-driven design.
  • Partner with third parties to provide penetration testing services.

Requirements:

  • A university degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • Over 5 years' experience in IT application security and risk management.
  • Strong technical or security skills related to IT applications and infrastructure.
  • Solid experience in cyber security controls and incident handling.
  • Good knowledge of Companying environment.
  • Knowledge and experience in Fintech is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Companying regulations/guidelines relating to cyber security and technology risk management.
  • Strong self-motivation, leadership, communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills.
  • A great sense of ownership and servicing mindset.
  • Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese; Mandarin is an advantage.
  • Possess at least two professional qualifications such as CISM, CISA, CISSP, CEH, GWAPT, GPEN, and OSCP.
  • Experienced in web and mobile application development/penetration testing preferred.
  • Experienced in performing security risk assessment and audits based on industry standards.
  • Familiar with various cybersecurity-related frameworks such as ISO 27001 ISMS, CIS CSC (CIS Critical Security Controls), and NIST Cyber Security Framework.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
