**Career Opportunities at Centre for Oncology and Immunology**

We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team at the Centre for Oncology and Immunology. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in immunotherapeutics and cancer biology.

The successful candidate will work under the direction of Prof. Naoto Hirano as part of a collaborative program between the University of Hong Kong and the University Health Network/Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (Canada). The primary focus will be on developing novel immunotherapeutics through translational research in cell-based immuno-oncology drug development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to collaborative research projects in cell-based immuno-oncology drug development.
  • Work closely with the principal investigator's scientific teams at the Centre for Oncology and Immunology and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Possess a strong research background in biomedical sciences, bioengineering, and biological science, preferably in cancer biology, immunology, immuno-oncology, molecular biology, genomic, proteomic, or metabolomic.
  • Demonstrate a proven track record of publishing academic research papers.
  • Have experience in immune-bioengineering, molecular biology, and cellular immunology laboratory techniques, including handling mammalian cell culture.
  • Specialized research interest in structural biology.
  • Understanding and experience in developing 'muteins'.
  • Experience in humanized mouse models.
  • Experience in animal handling techniques.
  • Experience in clinical trial theory and practice and establishing translational research processes and infrastructures.
