Key Responsibilities
- Design and Implement Infrastructure Solutions
Develop and implement infrastructure solutions for regional projects, utilizing your expertise in Windows file shares technologies.
Consolidate User RequirementsWork with the service owner and security team to translate user requirements into standard policies and procedural documents for file share.
Provide Analysis and RecommendationsConduct in-depth analysis of file shares and provide recommendations for remediation plans and clean-up procedures.
Prepare Monthly ReportsPrepare monthly reports on file share remediation work progress.
Develop Scripts and ProceduresDevelop scripts and procedures to streamline the clean-up of file shares.
Lead Virtual TeamsLead virtual teams for the consolidation of file shares with common purposes.
Migrate DataMigrate data from one file share to a new file share.
Requirements
- Education
Degree in Computer Science or related disciplines.
ExperienceMinimum 10 years of IT infrastructure experience.
Technical SkillsProven track record on Microsoft Windows file share technologies, directory (ACL, GPO), and ability to understand effective permission of share & NTFS levels.
Soft SkillsAbility to demonstrate practical experience in implementing and supporting file share services, experienced in file server consolidation and migration, and strong understanding of using Powershell/vbscript/Chef to automate the provision of the ACL/share.
Communication SkillsAbility to communicate at all levels within the organization.
