We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at EduAIR Systems Limited. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the development of AI education toolkits and courseware, enabling students to enjoy their AI learning journey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software for our toolkit, with a focus on either web platform or microcontroller programming.
- Program microcontrollers such as STM32, Arduino, and ESP32 for wireless communication and hardware integration.
- Conduct debugging, testing, and performance optimization to ensure system reliability and scalability.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, applicants should have a bachelor's degree or above preferably in electronics, electrical or computer engineering, computer science, information engineering or equivalent. He/ She must be legally permitted to work in Hong Kong; and in possession of a bachelor's degree or above of a STEM (i.e. Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics)-related discipline awarded by a local university, or jointly awarded by a local university together with a non-local university.
Preferred Skills:
- At least 2 years of software development experience (projects during undergraduate studies).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, C, C++, Java.
- Familiarity with AI algorithms, and knowledge in machine learning frameworks such as Tensorflow and PyTorch.
- Familiarity with IT collaboration tools such as GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket.
- Proficiency in one or more of the following areas:
- Front-end Web Platform Development: Familiarity with RESTful APIs or GraphQL for front-end integration; Familiarity with web-based AI processing such as TensorFlow.js or Brain.js.
- Back-end Web Platform Development: Experience with back-end technologies such as Node.js, Express.js, or other server-side frameworks; Understanding of database management systems like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or MySQL; Knowledge of server-side architecture, API development, and security best practices.
