About the Role
This is a senior-level legal position that requires extensive experience in providing legal advice and support in various international corporate matters. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of international laws and regulations, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Job Responsibilities
- Providing expert legal guidance on a wide range of international corporate matters, including employment, regulatory, and other governance issues.
- Supporting and managing the company's compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Advising on debt financing and payments, as well as identifying and evaluating risks associated with new or complex business activities.
- Coordinating with internal departments and business units to ensure effective compliance.
- Liaising with external counsel to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years PQE (qualified in Hong Kong, Singapore, US, UK, or other comparable common law jurisdiction).
- Proven experience in legal and regulatory compliance in-house or in law firms.
- Prior regional experience working on related matters in the technology field is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proactive approach and ability to handle matters independently.
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate within a team.
- Fluency in spoken and written English, with a proficient command of Chinese.
Salary Information
The estimated salary for this role is around $250,000 - $350,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
