About the Role
We are looking for a highly skilled Sports Physiotherapist to join our team at the Hong Kong Sports Institute Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation services for scholarship athletes, including Para athletes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To provide physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation services for scholarship athletes;
- Liaise with coaches, sports medicine professionals, and other related personnel on athletes' rehabilitation and injury management;
- Conduct sports medicine-related research and educational programmes for athletes and coaches;
- Assist in training and supervising junior physiotherapists and physiotherapy students;
- Perform any other appropriate duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements and Qualifications
- A university degree in physiotherapy or a relevant discipline;
- Registration with the Hong Kong Physiotherapy Board;
- A minimum of 4 years of physiotherapy or sports relevant working experience;
- Experience in managing sports injuries;
- An excellent command of both spoken and written English and Chinese;
- Awareness/knowledge of Child Protection in sport and equal opportunity issues in the context of Hong Kong.
