About Citi's Transaction Banking Business:

Citi's Transaction Banking business is a leading provider of integrated cash management and trade finance solutions to multinational corporations, financial institutions, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), payment intermediaries, and e-commerce marketplaces across the world.

The business has a strong presence in Asia, with operations in 16 markets. This role will be part of the Payments product team in Hong Kong, working closely with global partners and stakeholders to deliver strategic projects and initiatives.

Job Description

This is a key leadership role that reports to the Payments Business Execution lead. The objective of the role is to work on a portfolio of strategic deliverables for Citi's Transaction Banking business in Asia.

  • Establish governance frameworks and execute deliverables for assigned projects, ensuring timely delivery and stakeholder engagement.
  • Work with the Business Execution team and other stakeholders to manage regional regulatory tech investment slate processes and tech council disciplines.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to drive data localization and onshoring projects, enhancing Citi's capabilities in these areas.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including global partners, technology teams, sales teams, and country/cluster product teams.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 8+ years' experience in a related role, with extensive experience in business project management.
  • A thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.
  • A successful track record in leading change management, establishing, and executing program governance.
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize insights and prioritize actions in a highly matrixed, large corporate environment.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with various stakeholders, including sponsors, senior management, project managers, and team members.
