Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Operations Manager to oversee the daily activities at our medical waste treatment plant.

  • This position requires strong leadership and communication skills to manage the team effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all processes are carried out in accordance with regulatory requirements.
  • Manage resources such as machinery and manpower during shifts.
  • Collaborate with the Engineering and Maintenance Teams to resolve technical problems.
  • Respond to alarms and emergency conditions, taking steps to correct and normalize conditions.
  • Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and efficiency improvement.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to subordinates and support the development of junior operators.

Requirements

  • A Higher Diploma or above in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in chemical plant or process plant operations.
  • Knowledge in wastewater treatment, incineration, or boiler operations is an advantage. Certification as a water tube boiler operator or forklift driver is a plus.
  • Able to work in a continuous rotating shift @ 44 hours per week; work 4-6 days per week.
