This role will involve performing life and health reinsurance pricing for various markets, engaging with stakeholders for product development discussions, and reviewing work performed by junior team members. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technical pricing, excellent communication skills, and in-depth knowledge of Life and Health products in the APAC region.

Job Description:
  • Pricing and Product Development:
    • Perform life and health reinsurance pricing for market quotations under company guidelines.
    • Engage in product development discussions with internal and external stakeholders.
    • Review pricing work performed by junior Pricing team members.
  • In-force Management:
    • Perform experience studies & profitability analyses on in-force treaties.
  • Communication:
    • Work closely with local teams and occasionally with Hannover Office, other regional offices and departments concerning product developments.
  • Treaty Documentation:
    • Review treaty documents to ensure consistencies between pricing intentions and quotation offers.
    • Train junior Pricing team members.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Statistics or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 7 years of working experience in technical pricing from the Insurance or Reinsurance industry.
  • Qualified Actuary with excellent communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge in Life and Health products in the APAC region.
