Job Title: Data Scientist

At Cathay Pacific Airways Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will play a critical role in driving business decisions through data-driven insights.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced analytics and machine learning models to drive business growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business questions into quantitative problems and develop actionable insights.
  • Lead individual use cases to ensure business needs are met and value delivered.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Econometrics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Statistics, or related disciplines.
  • Minimum 5 years' work experience in data science, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in operations research areas.
  • Advanced analytical skills, experience in recommending appropriate algorithms and methodologies for problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Experience in AWS cloud stack and agile software delivery/CICD is preferred.
  • Expertise in statistical analysis tools and machine learning languages, as well as proficiency in data visualization tools.
