About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior IT Project Manager to join our team at China Mobile International Limited. As a key member of our project management team, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of large-scale data centre projects from initiation to closure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing technical requirements for data centres and coordinating with consultants and contractors to determine technical designs, project execution plans, and controls.
- Executing projects within defined timelines, improving delivery efficiency, controlling costs, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Establishing project governance models and reporting mechanisms, as well as maintaining effective communication with stakeholders.
- Evaluating and managing process flows, ensuring compliance, and conducting necessary certifications for overseas data centres.
- Collaborating with other departments to create strategic development plans for overseas data centres.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related disciplines.
- At least 7 years of experience in project management, preferably in data centre or facility MEP construction.
- Strong knowledge of data centre facility systems, including electrical systems, cooling systems, security systems, fire protection systems, and building management systems.
- Excellent project management skills, including integrated management, progress management, quality management, procurement management, and cost management.
- Familiarity with local construction regulations, including work permits.
- Possession of working knowledge in data centre building management systems, structured cabling systems, IT infrastructure systems, and network technology is an advantage.
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese, with Mandarin being an advantage.
