Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Senior Procurement Manager to lead our IT Data Centre procurement efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Centralised Procurement: Oversee the procurement of IT Data Centre resources, including equipment, hardware, software, data networks, and implementation services.
  • End-to-End Procurement Process: Manage the entire procurement process, from market research to contract award, ensuring timely and cost-effective solutions.
  • Progress Monitoring and Problem Resolution: Track procurement progress and resolve any issues that may arise during the process.
  • Value Creation: Identify opportunities for cost reduction and operational efficiency, driving maximum value from sourcing exercises.
  • Supplier Management: Review supplier performance, contracts, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A degree in Computer Science, IT, or Supply Chain disciplines is preferred. Minimum 3 years' experience in buying/merchandising/purchasing/procurement fields for IT Procurement Manager.
  • Sourcing Expertise: Minimum 10 years' solid experience in sourcing technology solutions, including hardware, software, and implementation services for Senior IT Procurement Manager.
  • Professional Qualifications: A strong background in procurement and relevant professional qualifications, such as CIPS, are advantageous.
  • Negotiation and Communication Skills: Strong skills in contract negotiation, supplier sourcing, and management, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Language Proficiency: Good command of both spoken and written Chinese and English.
