About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Field Assistant to join our team at Yau Lee Holdings Limited. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the survey and inspection of construction sites, compiling reports, and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Survey and Inspection: Assist in conducting site surveys and inspections to identify defects and non-conformities, and compile detailed reports on findings.
  2. Support to CM: Collaborate with the Contract Manager (CM) or their representatives to carry out tests and inspections of structural works on site, and assist in checking site safety, security, and environmental protection measures.
  3. Document Checking: Verify drawing and other documents required for construction work execution, and report any discrepancies or issues.
  4. Coordination and Reporting: Assist in coordinating with contractors for defect rectification, updating site inspection records, and reporting progress to stakeholders.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma or Higher Certificate in Building Studies, Civil or Structural Engineering from a recognized institution, such as the Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Relevant experience in the construction field is also essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly WORD and EXCEL, is preferred.
