Overview

The Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong is seeking a highly qualified Associate Professor (Clinical) to join our team. Salary

The annual salary for this position ranges from HK$1,050,000 to HK$1,290,000, depending on experience and qualifications. A comprehensive benefits package is also included, reflecting the university's commitment to supporting its employees' well-being and career development.

Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing high-quality clinical services to patients with orthopaedic and traumatological conditions;
  • Conducting innovative research projects and collaborating with colleagues to advance knowledge in the field;
  • Teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students, and promoting academic excellence;
  • Undertaking administrative duties within the department, faculty, and university, including contributing to strategic planning and policy development;

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A medical qualification approved for registration with the Medical Council of Hong Kong;
  • A specialist qualification in orthopaedic surgery comparable to that required by the Hong Kong College of Orthopaedic Surgeons;
  • Post-qualification experience in relevant disciplines, with a strong track record of teaching, research, publication, and grant proposal writing;
