Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with senior management to execute the financial strategy of this rapidly growing firm, driving informed decision-making and optimal returns on investments.
  • Oversee all financial reporting and maintain seamless relationships with external service providers, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality results.
  • Lead the finance function for the funds, encompassing accounting, reporting, compliance, and tax requirements, guaranteeing adherence to regulatory standards.
  • Support the preparation of quarterly investor reporting and financial statements, providing transparent insights into fund performance.
  • Drive fund operations, including capital calls, tax, and regulatory filings, streamlining processes to enhance efficiency and reduce complexity.
  • Oversight of cash management and liquidity planning for the funds, ensuring robust financial stability and adaptability.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external service providers, such as auditors, tax consultants, and banks, fostering collaborative relationships and resolving queries promptly.
  • Review legal documents for fund compliance and investments, guaranteeing alignment with regulatory frameworks and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Provide critical support to the investment team during transactions, offering expertise and guidance to ensure successful deal execution.
  • Maintain transparent communication with investors, addressing ad hoc inquiries and concerns in a prompt and professional manner.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred, indicating a strong foundation in financial principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated expertise in management leadership, finance transformation, and stakeholder management as a Chief Financial Officer/Head of Finance, showcasing exceptional leadership abilities and vision.
  • Experience working with legal documents, fund administration, transaction advisory, and investment controlling, highlighting a comprehensive understanding of complex financial systems.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the Hong Kong/UK regulatory framework governing the operations of financial services businesses, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimized risk.
  • Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese, facilitating effective communication across diverse stakeholders and geographical regions.
