Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic hiring expert to join our team as a Talent Acquisition Professional. This role will be responsible for identifying and evaluating top candidates for key positions within the firm.

  1. Partner with our existing talent acquisition team to source and evaluate top candidates for portfolio manager, researcher, and software developer roles.
  2. Collaborate with Portfolio Management teams to develop job specifications and skills requirements that support their research efforts.
  3. Establish relationships with external recruitment firms and connect with universities and student groups to attract top talent.
  4. Standardize interview evaluation summaries and create interview training materials to ensure consistency across the firm.
  5. Develop new strategies for sourcing and evaluating potential candidates to stay ahead of the competition.
  6. Monitor the recruiting landscape to identify market trends and talented individuals.
  7. Develop long-term relationships with a range of skilled professionals in the field.
  8. Gather and outline objectives for each open position with the hiring manager to create accurate job descriptions, qualifications, and required skills; screen candidates; and formulate offers.
Requirements
  • An academic background in a quantitative discipline or a related field.
  • A BS or MS in finance, statistics, engineering, or computer science preferred, along with 3 years of work experience.
  • The ability to independently manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence to build relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to perceive nuance in verbal interactions.
  • Strong written communication skills.
  • Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
  • Non-English language skills (especially Mandarin) are valuable but not a requirement.
