About the Role:

The Investment Banking Support Specialist plays a vital role in the success of our Private Client Coverage team. This dynamic professional will assist in the creation and execution of sales and marketing strategies designed to drive revenue growth and attract new target clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Banker in developing comprehensive sales plans and execute strategies to acquire new clients, with a focus on investments.

  • Conduct market research, generate leads, and develop prospects to support the Banker's efforts in acquiring new business.

  • Support the Banker in profiling, qualifying, and converting prospects into Citi Private Bank clients.

  • Coordinate client meetings, including organizing pre-call planning, maintaining post-meeting notes, and updating call records.

  • Provide timely and accurate revenue tracking and deal pipeline reports to the Banker.

  • Offer day-to-day support to the Banker on documentation such as account openings, closings, loan disbursements, and other related tasks.

  • Deliver exceptional client service, addressing complex inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.

  • Ensure proper documentation for Know-Your-Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) requirements from clients, while maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records.

  • Demonstrate sound judgment when assessing risks, adhering to regulatory requirements, and upholding Citi's reputation by promoting compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience in investment banking or a related field.

  • Knowledge of investments is essential; proficiency in banking and credit products is highly desirable.

  • Proven ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Capacity to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Hold AMFI or NSFI certifications, if available.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
