As Product Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our footwear products. Your key responsibilities will include conducting factory audits, developing corrective action plans, and improving quality management systems.
You will also be responsible for managing product development, including QA and PP sample approval, to ensure timely and quality delivery of bulk products each season. Additionally, you will handle customer complaints and issues, perform investigations, and coordinate with compliance teams and 3rd party test laboratories.
Key Accountabilities- Conduct onsite technical factory audits and provide advice to factories on improvement plans.
- Assist factories in developing Corrective Action Plans (CAP) and oversee implementation.
- Assess and improve factory Quality Management Systems.
- Seasonal data analysis for vendor performance based on sample performance and inspection results.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline.
- Solid knowledge and experience in handling quality aspects of footwear-related products.
- Good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin.
- Strong communication with external parties and internal teams.
- Preventive awareness in terms of product safety and production consistency.
- Experience in retail business sourcing or buying office is preferable.
- Familiarity with Australian technical standard requirements or EU markets.
- Strong integrity and professional ethics.
