Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solution Lead – Technology and Architecture to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing the full-cycle development of proof-of-concepts to tackle business challenges and enhance experience for our customers across our global network.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to identify their pain points and challenges.
  • Develop and propose solutions through proof of concepts (POCs) that meet business requirements.
  • Configure and implement technical solutions to support POCs.
  • Plan, design, develop, implement, and support POCs to ensure timely delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technology, industry, and relevant business domains.
  • Initiate, define, plan, and execute POC projects to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Test all aspects of POCs, including security, performance, and integration.
  • Ensure the quality of work delivered by junior analysts in the development and execution of POCs.

Requirements:

  • 6 years of IT experience in Application Development area.
  • A degree qualification in Information Technology related discipline, Masters preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, reporting effectively using English verbally and written.
  • Ability to work closely with the business to understand and incorporate non-functional requirements in the application and infrastructure architecture.
  • Able to work independently, with minimal supervision.
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills, leveraging both logic and creativity.
  • Understanding of different cloud services like AWS, Azure and their architecture design.
  • Understanding of Agile and DevOps and implementation of DevOps in large organizations.
  • Understanding of new technology such as AI, VR, IoT etc. is a plus.
  • Experience with automation technologies like Jenkins and container-based implementations and orchestration like Kubernetes, OpenShift.
