Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Infrastructure Specialist to join our team at OOCL. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining cloud infrastructure solutions, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring high availability and quality of our cloud systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with application development, system, and infrastructure teams to design and implement DevOps tools, frameworks, and cloud platform management solutions
- Research new technologies, techniques, and 3rd party frameworks to improve automation, application development, and cloud platform management
- Develop and enforce best practices and policies for application deployment and cloud infrastructure maintenance
- Improve reliability, availability, and performance of highly scaling cloud systems through recovery automation
- Monitor systems, infrastructure, and cloud services to ensure high availability and quality

Requirements:
- University Graduate in Computer Science or related disciplines
- Familiarity with Java, Nodejs, Python, and popular open-source frameworks
- At least 2 years' experience in developing or using DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines, cloud experience, preferably in Azure/AliCloud
- Experience with Container technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Rancher, AKS, ACK)
- Knowledge of Service Mesh technologies (e.g., Istio), big data technologies, cloud native application design, and cloud management skills is a plus

About the Role:
This is a full-time Associate-level position in Engineering and Information Technology, requiring strong technical skills, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cloud computing, DevOps, and continuous learning.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum
