Psychiatric Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Psychiatric Nurse to join our team at the Hospital Authority.
Key Responsibilities- Undertake basic psychiatric nursing duties, including providing care and support to patients with mental health conditions.
- Work under the guidance and supervision of senior nursing staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Conduct assessments, develop and implement treatment plans, and evaluate patient progress.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health issues and treatment options.
- A Certificate of Enrolment (Part II) and a valid Practising Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong.
- Fluent Cantonese language skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Experience working with patients with mental health conditions.
- Knowledge of psychiatric nursing principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Required to work shifts or perform on-call duties.
- May be required to work in another work location to meet service needs of the HA.
- Required to wear uniform.
