Sustainability Journalist

We're looking for a skilled journalist to take on the challenge of covering China's climate change efforts. As part of our team, you'll be responsible for developing innovative story ideas, breaking news, and pitching feature stories that capture the essence of this critical topic.

This role requires a deep understanding of China's complex economy, culture, and politics. The ideal candidate will be able to navigate these complexities, providing insightful analysis and compelling storytelling.

1. Research and develop story ideas that showcase China's climate change initiatives, highlighting their impact on the environment, economy, and society.
2. Write breaking news articles on climate-related topics, ensuring accuracy, fairness, and engagement.
3. Pitch feature stories that explore the human aspect of climate change, using personal anecdotes and real-life examples.
4. Collaborate with colleagues to create a comprehensive and cohesive climate coverage strategy.

1. At least 5 years of journalism experience, preferably covering climate change and China.
2. Strong research and analytical skills, with an ability to interpret complex data.
3. Excellent writing and storytelling abilities, with a talent for crafting engaging narratives.
4. Fluency in Mandarin, with proficiency in spoken and written English.
5. Demonstrated career growth within an organization, with a passion for learning and professional development.
