Job Title: Youth Worker

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Youth Worker to join our team at The Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting STEM training activities for students of primary to secondary schools, organizing STEM events, and developing promotion strategies for our service unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver STEM training programs for students, including research and development of teaching content, preparation, and conduct of trainings.
  • Organize various STEM events, such as competitions, seminars, and carnivals, to promote STEM education among youth.
  • Develop and implement effective promotion strategies for our service unit, including website, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
  • Perform other duties as required by the Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups.

Requirements:

  • Diploma holder in Science or Technology related disciplines.
  • Preference will be given to candidates with relevant knowledge or experience in Youth Service, organizing STEM activities, and event management.
  • Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese.

  • Persistent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
  • A good team player, outgoing, and energetic.
  • Eager to keep abreast of science and technology development.
